Job summary

HomePro, a Texas-based home technologies company, is seeking a Plan Prep Coordinator to assist senior estimators and learn residential high‑voltage estimating in a supportive, innovative environment.

You will use basic Excel to prepare project estimates, read home diagrams and blueprints, and contribute to competitive bids while training on HomePro’s estimating standards and collaborating with multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel.
• Detail-oriented and eager to learn.
• Interest in residential high-voltage field.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior estimators to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Utilize basic Excel skills to assist in preparation and organization of project estimates.
• Learn and apply industry-specific knowledge related to residential high-voltage systems.
• Work with home diagrams and blueprints to comprehend project scopes.
• Support the estimation team in material take-offs and cost analysis.
• Assist in preparing accurate and competitive bids for residential projects.
• Learn and adhere to HomePro’s estimating standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather relevant project information.
• Attend training sessions and actively seek opportunities for skill development.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
