Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a database developer to support front-end systems and internal development needs. You will design, test, and deploy database processes using PL/SQL (Triggers, Procedures, Functions, and Materialized Views) and collaborate with end-users to gather requirements for rapid, reliable data solutions.

Responsibilities include designing robust database workflows, addressing performance issues, and evaluating new database products and protocols.

Qualifications

One to three years of database development/administration experience.
In-depth understanding of data management, including permissions, security, and monitoring.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to understand front-end user requirements and a problem-solving attitude.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design stable, reliable and effective database processes.
Solve database usage issues and malfunctions.
Gather user requirements and identify new features.
Provide data management support to users.
Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements.
Research and suggest new database products, services, and protocols.
Consult with IT management in analyzing business functions and management needs.
