Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a Mid PKI Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise PKI services that enable secure authentication, encryption, and digital signatures for mission-critical systems.

You will own certificate lifecycle management, enforce PKI policies, and integrate PKI with identity platforms, VPNs, TLS termination, and cloud services across federal IT environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4–7 years in security engineering or infrastructure roles focusing on PKI and certificate management.
• Deep understanding of PKI architectures, CA hierarchies, trust models, OCSP/CRL, and lifecycle controls.
• Strong familiarity with TLS, S/MIME, and code signing in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise PKI platforms and tooling including identity and network security services.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance with U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and operate PKI infrastructures across on‑premises and cloud environments.
• Design and manage certificate lifecycle processes for endpoints, applications, and services.
• Integrate PKI with identity platforms, VPN and TLS termination, secure email, and code signing.
• Administer PKI platforms with backup, monitoring, and high availability.
• Define and maintain certificate policies and PKI runbooks aligned with security requirements.
• Lead troubleshooting of PKI incidents and durable remediation.
• Provide guidance on cryptographic standards and secure PKI usage patterns.
