Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company is seeking a Mid-level PKI Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise PKI services supporting secure authentication, encryption, and digital signatures for mission-critical systems.

You will own certificate lifecycle management, integrate PKI with identity platforms, and ensure audit-ready operation while collaborating with security stakeholders to enforce policies and operational procedures across on-premises and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4–7 years in security engineering or infrastructure roles focusing on PKI and certificate management.
• Deep understanding of PKI architectures, CA hierarchies, and lifecycle controls.
• Strong familiarity with cryptographic standards and protocols (TLS, S/MIME, code signing).
• Hands-on experience with enterprise PKI platforms and tooling, including identity/network integration.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance, with U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and operate PKI infrastructures across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Design scalable certificate lifecycle processes for large fleets of endpoints and services.
• Integrate PKI with identity platforms, VPN/Wi‑Fi auth, TLS termination, secure email, and code signing.
• Administer PKI platforms with backup, monitoring, and high availability.
• Define certificate policies and PKI runbooks aligned with security requirements.
• Lead troubleshooting of PKI/certificate incidents and remediation.
• Provide guidance on cryptographic standards and secure PKI usage.
