Job summary

Schulze ES in Irving, TX seeks a PreK BIL Teacher for 26-27 SY. The PK-3 and PK-4 teacher will join Irving ISD to provide engaging early childhood instruction and support students’ academic, social and emotional growth.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and a valid Texas teaching certificate, with experience in managing classrooms and utilizing technology to enhance learning outcomes. This is a full-time position on a standard 187-day salary schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and valid Texas teaching certificate required.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned and knowledge of curriculum and instruction.
• Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior; strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement plans for the curriculum program assigned and show written evidence of preparation as required.
• Present the subject matter according to TEA guidelines, board policies, and administrative regulations.
• Use data to plan instructional strategies and accommodate individual needs (gifted, bilingual/ESL, 504, etc).
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEP guidelines.
• Cooperate with staff to plan and implement instructional goals and methods per district requirements.
• Plan and supervise tutor/volunteer activities; integrate technology to enhance teaching and learning.
