Job summary

Nutrition One is hiring in Phoenix for a Pizza Kitchen Prep / Driver role. You will prepare pizzas in the kitchen, then load and deliver meals to Arizona schools. The shift blends kitchen duties with driving, starting very early and finishing before most lunch hours.

You must be 21+, hold a valid Arizona driver’s license with a clean record, and have a Level One IVP Clearance Card. Food handler’s certification is required or obtainable within 5 days of hire.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of pizza prep or kitchen experience.
• Must be 21 or older with a valid Arizona driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ DPS), required for school-site access.
• Valid Food Handler’s Card (or ability to obtain within 5 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Prepare dough, sauces, toppings, and pizzas to standardized recipes.
• Operate ovens, slicers, and prep tools safely.
• Load and deliver meals to school sites on time.
• Complete delivery logs and temperature checks.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report issues promptly.
• Keep prep stations and ovens clean throughout the shift.
• Represent Nutrition One professionally at every school stop.

Pizza Kitchen Prep / Driver – School Meals (Phoenix, Nights & Weekends Off)

Make the pizza, hit the road, feed the school. That is your morning.

If you like variety and want your day to mean something, this one covers both. You will start in our Phoenix pizza kitchen preparing meals for Arizona students, then load up and run delivery routes to area schools. By the time most people are sitting down for lunch, you have already made it, delivered it, and called it a morning. We are looking for someone who can move between kitchen and driving without missing a beat, and who takes the responsibility of showing up for kids seriously. Early starts, nights and weekends off.

Before You Apply: What to Expect

• Very early starts: shifts begin between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday.
• This is a dual role: you will move between kitchen prep and driving delivery routes in the same shift.
• You must be 21 or older with a valid Arizona driver’s license and a clean driving record (insurance requirement).
• You need reliable personal transportation to reach the kitchen on time for early route departures.
• You will regularly lift up to 50 lbs and spend your entire shift on your feet and on the road.
• This is a school-year role, so hours can drop or pause during school breaks.

• Represent Nutrition One professionally at every school stop.

What We’re Looking For

• Must be 21 or older with a valid Arizona driver’s license and a clean driving record (insurance requirement).
• Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ DPS), required for school-site access.
• At least 6 months of pizza prep or kitchen experience.
• Valid Food Handler’s Card (or ability to obtain within 5 days of hire).
• Reliable and comfortable with early starts (5:00–6:00 AM).
• Able to move between kitchen and driving tasks in the same shift.
