Responsibilities

• Collect soiled dishware from kitchen and wash them thoroughly.
• Prepare dining areas and kitchen for the next shift by cleaning and restocking.
• Clean machines and appliances used in the kitchen.
• Keep dish pit area clean and organized.
• Assisting with unloading and storing deliveries.
• Sweep and mop floors, especially when items are spilled.
• Take out the trash and rinse garbage cans.
• Support other restaurant staff members by assisting with tasks.
• Report kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes.
• Make sure dining area is ready for the day.
• Set up kitchen line for readiness before rushes.
• Prepare kitchen at close for the next business day.
