Job summary

Stew Leonard is seeking a Pizza Host/Hostess in Town of Hempstead, NY. This full-time hourly role involves preparing pizzas and related products, assisting customers, and maintaining display freshness with a focus on service quality.

You will handle daily specials, support kitchen operations, and contribute to a welcoming store environment with strong teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent with 1 to 3 years of experience.
• Pizza making experience preferred.
• Knowledge on food preparation.
• Safely use/operate knives, ovens, scales, wrapping machine, steamers, mixers, and all other equipment required in the day to day operation of the kitchen.
• Excellent customer service.
• Good oral communication skills.

Pizza Host/Hostess

Full-Time Hourly. Estimated pay range $17.75-18.25 depending on qualifications and experience

Must be at least 18 years and older

Position Description:

Pizza Host is responsible for preparation of Pizza, Stromboli, Calzones, etc.

Your day-to-day:

• Preparation of daily pizza and specials for the day
• Assisting customers with pizza ordering
• Preparing prepackaged pizza/products for customers
• Rotating shelves

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent with 1 to 3 years of experience
• Pizza making experience preferred
• Knowledge on food preparation
• Safely use/operate knives, ovens, scales, wrapping machine, steamers, mixers, and all other equipment required in the day to day operation of the kitchen

Working Conditions:
