Job summary

California Pizza Kitchen is seeking a Pizza Chef to deliver high-quality pizzas and uphold CPK standards in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. You will work with our team to ensure every guest has a memorable dining experience and to live the CPK High 5 values.

We offer flexible shifts and comprehensive training, with opportunities for advancement in a diverse culture that celebrates teamwork and passion for great food.

Qualifications

• Three to six months related experience or training.
• CPK values Respect, Opportunity, Communication and Kindness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards for food quality and sanitation.
• Ensure timely preparation of pizzas and station recipes.
• Operate and be expert with the Dough-Pro machine.
• Support line checks and complete prep par sheets each shift.
• Prepare all necessary items for the station.
• Practice safe, sanitary handling of equipment and surfaces.
• Open/close station and perform side work duties each shift.

Job Duties

• Our Pizza Chef maintain the highest standards for food quality and sanitation.
• They assure timely preparation of all pizzas station recipes.
• They are our experts of the “Dough-Pro” machine.
• Our Pizza Chef supports the line checks process and complete prep par sheets every shift.
• They prepare all necessary items for their station as needed.
• They practice and teach safe/sanitary handling of cutting boards, counter tops, knives, and equipment.
• They maintain the proper temperature of equipment and perform station opening/closing and side work duties each shift.
• We require three to six months related experience or training.
