Job summary

California Pizza Kitchen in San Diego is seeking a part-time Pizza Cook to join our kitchen team. You will maintain high standards of food quality and sanitation, ensure timely prep for all pizzas, and work with the Dough-Pro machine to support the line.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest standards for food quality and sanitation at the pizza station.
• Prepare all pizzas to recipe standards for the line and ensure timely service.
• Operate and be proficient with the Dough-Pro machine and station equipment.
• Perform daily opening/closing tasks and assist with side work as needed.

They assure timely preparation of all pizzas station recipes. They are our experts of the “Dough-Pro” machine. Our Pizza Chef supports the line checks process and complete prep par sheets every shift. They prepare all necessary items for their station as needed. They practice and teach safe/sanitary handling of cutting boards, counter tops, knives, and equipment. They maintain the proper temperature of equipment and perform station opening/closing and side work duties each shift.
