Job summary

Rosati’s Pizza - Plainfield is seeking a Pizza Cook to join our kitchen team. You’ll prepare pizzas from our menu and custom orders, bake doughs, and support the line during busy periods. This role is a perfect starting point to launch or expand your restaurant career.

No prior restaurant experience is required; we’ll teach you our recipes and techniques. You should enjoy teamwork, a fast pace, and keeping pizzas flying out of the oven; growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with preparing and baking pizza doughs.
• Enjoys working on a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment.
• Ability to stand for long periods (about 90% of the shift) and access all areas of the location.
• Capable of tolerating warm temperatures and using kitchen equipment.
• Physically able to reach, bend, kneel, climb and move around the facility.
• Follow directions and create menu items.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pizzas out of our menu and based on custom orders.
• Bake a variety of pizza doughs (thin crust, double dough, deep dish).
• Perform line-cook related tasks as needed.
• Monitor food stock and place orders as needed.
• Maintain a clean cooking station and sterilize equipment.

We’ll teach you everything you need to know, which makes this a perfect starting point to launch or expand your restaurant career.

• Bake a variety of pizza doughs (our traditional thin crust, double dough, and Chicago‑style deep dish)
• Ability to perform line‑cook related tasks as needed
• Monitor food stock and place orders as needed
• Maintain a clean cooking station as well as sterilize equipment

• Ability to be on your feet approximately 90% of the workday and freely access all areas of the locations
