Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Monroe, NJ is seeking a Forklift Operator II to support distribution operations. You will operate forklifts and order pickers, load/unload trailers, and help maintain a safe, efficient warehouse environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of warehouse experience and are trained and certified in safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks. We offer comprehensive benefits and potential overtime opportunities.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Operate powered industrial lift trucks (forklifts) and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment and materials
• Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy
• Load and unload trailers as required
• Adhere to the 5S program and always maintain a clean environment
• Demonstrate a commitment to process excellence
• Demonstrate an understanding of the company quality policy
• Perform inbound receiving process

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• 1 year of warehouse experience
• Trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed

It'd be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to communicate well with leadership and peers

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights up to 50 lbs.
