Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our team in Port Allen, LA. You will play a crucial role in moving materials, loading and unloading trailers, and maintaining clean, organized work areas to support our supply chain operations.

The ideal candidate is trained and certified in powered industrial lift trucks, able to operate scanners accurately, and willing to work a flexible schedule including overtime. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Flexibility to work a schedule with possible overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack or move products and materials.
• Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy.
• Load and unload trailers as needed.
• Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
• Demonstrate a commitment to process excellence.
• Understand and follow the Supply Chain quality policy.
• Perform inbound receiving processes.
