Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Des Moines, IA, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our team for day shift operations. You will operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to move products and materials, using a handheld scanner with precision, and load/unload trailers as needed.

We require a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of warehouse experience. A safety-certified operator and a flexible schedule with possible overtime are essential to succeed in this

Qualifications

• Trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed.
• 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Lift 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally.
• Stand, sit or walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do on a typical day:

Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment and materials

Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:
