Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to join our team in the United States.

The role focuses on safely operating powered equipment to pick orders, loading/unloading trailers, and stacking cartons on pallets within a dynamic warehouse environment. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, at least 1 year of warehouse experience, and familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanning devices.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year warehouse experience.
  • Adheres to safety policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate lifts to 23+ ft in hot/cold environments.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and stand/sit for long periods.
  • Normal or corrected hearing and vision.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems and RF guns.
  • Able to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Work flexible schedules including planned/unplanned overtime, weekends.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Unload trailers and stack cartons on slab or pallet.
  • Move cartons and use cutting tools to remove packaging.
  • Follow safety policies and procedures at all times.

Summary

The primary responsibilities include safely operating powered industrial equipment to pick orders, unloading trailers, stacking individual cartons on a slab or pallet, moving warehouse cartons of merchandise, operating power equipment, and using cutting tools to remove packaging.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have at least 1+ year(s) warehouse experience
  • Follows company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and take a reach truck or cherry picker to a height of 23+ feet in hot or cold environments
  • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and stand/sit for long periods of time
  • Normal or corrected hearing and vision
  • Have knowledge of warehouse management systems and RF guns
  • Ability to speak, read (fine print) and write in English, follow verbal and written directions, write simple correspondence, and effectively communicate to others
  • Able to work a flexible work schedule as needed including planned and unplanned overtime which may include weekends
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
