Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking a warehouse associate in the Miami area to operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers, ensuring accurate scans and efficient loading/unloading of trailers.

Ideal candidates have forklift certification, strong teamwork, and the ability to handle heavy lifts safely. The role includes flexible day, evening, or weekend shifts with a commitment to safety and process excellence.

Qualifications

Trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment and materials.
Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy.
Load and unload trailers as needed.
Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment.
Demonstrate commitment to process excellence.
Demonstrate understanding of the Supply Chain quality policy.
Perform inbound receiving processes.
Work assigned day, afternoon, night, or weekend shifts.
Perform additional duties outside normal responsibilities as needed.

Job description

Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment and materials
Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy

Requirements

Ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently and more than 75 lbs. occasionally
Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
Ability to stand, sit or walk for long periods
Ability to handle or manage tools or equipment
Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
