A leading infrastructure solutions firm in Alabama is seeking a detail-oriented Piping Designer. You will support EPC projects in power generation, developing safe and efficient piping systems integrated with mechanical, electrical, and civil designs. Responsibilities include creating P&IDs, preparing Material Take-Offs, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Successful candidates will have a minimum of 7 years of experience and proficiency in tools like AutoCAD and Plant 3D. This role offers the chance to work on impactful projects in a talented engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of piping design and drafting experience, preferably in EPC projects.
• Familiarity with piping materials, supports, valves, and instrumentation.
• Ability to interpret vendor drawings into construction-ready documentation.
• Experience with flexibility/stress analysis is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop piping designs including P&IDs, general arrangements, and equipment layouts.
• Prepare Material Take-Offs (MTOs) and support procurement activities.
• Verify existing field conditions and coordinate designs with client personnel.
• Create construction-ready documentation such as isometric drawings and installation plans.
• Support construction and startup activities onsite.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines to ensure design alignment.
