Job summary

Ramboll in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Piping Designer to contribute to design across chemical, power, and industrial facilities. You will work with experienced engineers on 3D modeling, isometrics, and equipment layouts using Plant 3D and Revit.

The role requires 2+ years in industrial piping design, data gathering at facilities (<10% travel), and solid communication skills in a fast-paced environment. Full-time employment with mentoring and leadership from experienced professionals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience designing industrial piping and equipment arrangements for manufacturing facilities.
• Experience using Autodesk Plant3D or Revit to develop 3D models and detailed design drawings for equipment and piping at manufacturing facilities.
• Desire to work in chemical, power, and industrial market segment.
• Desire and ability to work at industrial facilities gathering data for designs (expect <10% travel).
• Detail oriented individual.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

Salary Transparency Statement

At Ramboll, we are committed to fair and transparent compensation practices that support our people and our purpose of creating sustainable societies. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $105,000 per year. This range reflects the compensation we reasonably expect to offer at the time of posting. Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and internal equity. Because we operate across multiple U.S. markets, pay may differ depending on the cost of labor in specific locations. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for bonus, overtime or other forms of compensation and we offer a comprehensive benefits package that supports well-being, professional development, and work-life balance.
