Job summary

Selectek is looking for a skilled piping designer based in Cary, NC, to join their collaborative engineering team. You will be responsible for creating and coordinating 3D piping layouts using AutoCAD Plant 3D or Revit, ensuring the integration of vendor data into high-quality designs.

The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in piping design and strong proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D or Revit. A hybrid work setup is offered, with two days onsite per week.

Join a collaborative engineering team designing safe, efficient piping systems for complex industrial and advanced manufacturing facilities. This role focuses on developing and coordinating detailed 3D piping layouts using AutoCAD Plant 3D or Revit, integrating vendor data, and working closely with multi-discipline teams to deliver high-quality designs that meet scope, schedule, and quality standards.

What you’ll do

• Create and coordinate piping layouts, routing, and models in AutoCAD Plant 3D or Revit
• Apply core piping design principles, equipment layout, and piping specifications
• Incorporate vendor drawings and equipment data into accurate 3D models
• Collaborate across disciplines and global teams to support project execution
• Support estimating, QA/QC, and change identification throughout the design process
