Job summary

M3 Engineering & Technology Corp. in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the design of pipe systems within our Mechanical Department.

You will develop piping isometrics, pump calculations, and support P&ID reviews, collaborating with project teams to meet schedules. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering and proficiency with Inventor, Plant 3D or Revit, and familiarity with industry codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Experience with 3D modeling software such as Inventor, Plant 3D, and Revit.
• Knowledge of API, NACE, HI, ANSI NFPA codes.
• Knowledge of computational fluid dynamics software.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; passport required.
• Strong teamwork, self-starter, and organization.

Responsibilities

• Will work under the supervision of a Mechanical Engineer.
• Develop and apply engineering principles into the design of mechanical piping systems for process facilities. This includes development of pump calculations, piping isometrics, definition of pipeline materials of construction, review and input into P&ID’s, and selection of pumps/pipeline components.
• Will be available to learn and engage in any aspect of mechanical engineering, including learning new technologies.
• Will learn or enhance AutoCAD Mechanical, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and Revit software proficiency.
