This position is hybrid, requiring in-office attendance twice a week for local candidates, while remote options are available for others in the country.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualification:

Associates degree or higher. 20 years of experience in the field of piping design.

• Extensive demonstrated history of professional experience in the design of Piping systems.
• Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to the design of Piping systems.
• Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contributing with innovative ideas.
• Work independently for core tasks and reach out for specialized expertise.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work well within a dynamic team environment with multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Checking of Isometric Drawings for construction packages.
• Ability to use checklists to verify complete and accurate piping isometric drawings referencing P&ID's, Material Specifications, Stress Analysis Reports and stress isometrics, vendor equipment, and instrumentation drawings.
• Basic proficiency in 3D CAD platforms to maneuver within the design environment and extract pertinent information.
• Meet schedule deadlines to support construction packages.

Comments/Special Instructions

This position is hybrid. If a candidate is in the GVL area, they would need to report to the GVL office 2 days per week. If they are elsewhere in the country, they may not need to be in the office or may just be remote.
