Ingalls Shipbuilding, a division of HII, is seeking an experienced pipe welder to join a specialized team welding critical piping systems for naval vessels. You will work on stainless steel and copper-nickel piping, using GTAW/TIG, SMAW, and FCAW processes, with emphasis on precision and safety.

What You Can Earn

• Earn up to $39.46 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.

What You’ll Do

• Perform high‑precision pipe welding on Stainless Steel and Copper‑Nickel using Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG).
• Weld using additional processes including Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) and Flux‑Core Arc Welding (FCAW).
• Work from drawings, specifications, and welding procedures to ensure structural integrity and system reliability.
• Support ship construction in a 24/7 manufacturing environment, including working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
• Maintain safety standards that meet — and often exceed — industry requirements.

What You Bring

• Proven, hands‑on pipe welding experience with TIG/GTAW as a primary process
