Environmental Air Systems is seeking an experienced welder to join our manufacturing team. You will weld in various positions, ensuring high-quality work and adhering to safety-oriented procedures.

Responsibilities include following blueprints, installing and repairing equipment, and calculating material measurements to meet specifications. The role requires passing certification tests and lifting up to 50 lbs in a dynamic, noisy environment.

Formación

• Experience in welding, manufacturing, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW).
• Ability to pass certifications tests for Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code requirements.

Responsibilities:Weld in various positions according to safety-oriented proceduresPerform 100% weld quality in all positionsManufacture and fabricate finished metal productsInstall and repair various equipment and componentsFollow blueprints to meet product specificationsCalculate material measurements to verify specificationsConduct tests to evaluate weld quality and toleranceQualifications:Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fieldsProficiency in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)Must possess welding attireFamiliarity with welding tools, equipment, and proceduresFamiliarity with engineering blueprints and schematicsAbility to pass certifications tests on: Carbon Steel Schedule 40 Pipe, open root joint, and in the 6G fixed position; welds performed must meet ASME Sec IX Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code requirementsEducation Requirements:Minimum of a high school education or equivalentMinimum of five (5) years of Pipe Welding experienceJob Requirements/Special Skills:Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbsAbility to step over and work on top of fixtures that are 28 inches off the floor when necessaryAbility to work in conditions of varying heat and cold and where noise levels are at or above 90 decibelsOSHA 10 construction certification obtained within the last 5 years is required.
