Job summary

A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required; 0–2 years experience for Level C or more for higher levels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a group environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and operate pipelines, valves, pumps, and related equipment in a safe, compliant manner.
• Conduct Damage Prevention activities including patrols, one-calls, locating and marking pipelines, and inspecting crossings.
• Maintain current knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA and other regulatory requirements; complete related documentation.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize duties; coordinate work with employees and contractors.
• Coordinate with landowners, public agencies, contractors, utilities, and other pipeline operators.
• Participate in safety programs; follow policies and procedures; promote a safe work environment.
• Provide on-call support for areas of responsibility on a rotating basis.
• Comply with company safety policies; perform energy isolation lockout/tagout procedures (LOTO).
• Adhere to safety and operational procedures when working around heavy equipment and facilities.
