Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC is seeking a full-time Field Technician to support sewer maintenance, inspection and rehabilitation projects. The role involves operating and maintaining equipment, working outdoors in all weather, and following supervisor directions to ensure project success.

The position requires physical endurance, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and strict adherence to PPE guidelines. Per diem for out-of-town work and hotel accommodations are provided as part of the compensation package.

Skills and Specifications:

• Capable of following instructions and on-the-job training.
• Ability to operate a variety of simple and complex tools.

Education and Qualifications:

• Ability to perform physically demanding work for 8+ hours a day, including prolonged standing and walking, bending, and twisting.
• Ability to enter confined spaces.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in various weather conditions.
• Able to wear required PPE, i.e., hard hats, safety vest, work boots, and/or safety glasses/goggles while working as required by the job.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday but can include shift work, weekends, evenings, holidays - flexibility is required as job duties demand.
