Job Requirements

• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs of material & equipment
• Frequent walking stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing
• Frequent use of power & hand tools
• 1-2 years minimum pipe installation experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Ability to lay all types of pipe for fire, water, sewer, and storm drain
• Set shoring in accordance with OSHA safe practices
• Install services, fire hydrants, pipe connections
• Align and position pipes to prepare them for welding or sealing
• Check slopes for conformance to requirements
• Connect Pipe pieces
• Dig trenches to desired depths
• Cover pipes with earth or other materials
