The role requires five years of welding experience, pipefitting ability, and a solid grasp of welding codes. Proficiency in English and working with various metals is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with welding experience.
• Proven experience as a Pipe Welder & Pipefitter with reading blueprints and welding procedures.
• Strong knowledge of welding codes and standards and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Lay out and install pipe using shop or contract drawings.
• Install and assemble piping systems, including hangers and supports, ensuring proper alignment.
• Read blueprints, engineering drawings, isometrics, and welding procedures to determine welding techniques and equipment.
• Set up welding equipment and select TIG, MIG, or stick welding based on project needs.
• Perform pipe welding: cutting, fitting, and joining metal components.
• Conduct pipefitting: measuring, cutting, threading, and bending pipes.
