Job summary

Ferrovial's Webber division in Houston, Texas is seeking a Foreman to supervise storm drainage, sewer, and water main pipe work. You will read blueprints, grade trenches, and coordinate crews on site to ensure quality and timely completion.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of construction experience, strong English communication, and a commitment to safety. This role offers on-site work with a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Move throughout a construction jobsite including stairs/ladders and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Familiarity with and adherence to safety policies and procedures as described in the company safety manual.
• Three or more years of related construction experience preferred.
• Heavy physical activity required on a daily basis.
• Good manual dexterity to handle tools and materials.

Responsibilities

• Install and use instruments such as lasers, grade rods, and transit levels.
• Install and repair sanitary and stormwater sewer structures and pipe systems.
• Connect pipe pieces and seal joints using welding equipment, cement, or glue.
• Check slopes for conformance to requirements using levels or lasers.
• Cut pipes to required lengths.
• Align and position pipes to prepare them for welding or sealing.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures; report unsafe activities to supervisor or HR.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
