Job summary

PPS-HPS in the United States is seeking experienced Pipefitters for our fabrication shop in the East Valley. This full-time, permanent role offers substantial overtime and strong benefits.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, cutting and threading pipe, testing systems, and TIG weld tacking on fits. Candidates must have 4+ years of pipefitting and TIG welding experience and a solid commitment to safety per OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Pipefitter and TIG Welder.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Proficient in using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety and following OSHA guidelines.
• Certified in TIG welding for pipe applications or 6G Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine layout requirements.
• Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors, and ceilings using hand or power tools.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power tools.
• Test system for leaks using testing equipment
• Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings, and flush systems
• Install clamps, brackets, and hangers to support piping systems using hand and power tools
• Install pipe systems on board vessels in a safe and productive mannerSafely rig equipment following all OSHA requirements
• Inspect work, identify potential problems, and initiate corrective action
• Ensure correct work procedures are adhered to
• Perform TIG welding tacking on fits
