Job summary

Worley is seeking a skilled pipefitter to join our on-site team in La Porte, Texas. You will lie out, position, align, and fit together fabricated parts, read blueprints, and interpret specifications to ensure proper assembly.

You will fabricate and install various pipe types, install valves, support systems, perform leak tests, and operate cutting and beveling tools. Four years in industrial construction/maintenance is required; physical work and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in industrial construction/maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Physically capable of demanding field work.

Responsibilities

• Lie out, position, align, and fit fabricated parts.
• Read blueprints, ISO�s, filed installations, and understand specifications.
• Fabricate and install pipe types; install valves, supports and hangers.
• Test piping systems and perform leak tests.
• Use beveling machine and basic rigging; operate pneumatic/electric tools.
