Job summary

Worley, a global energy and resources company, seeks a skilled pipefitter for on-site assignments in Louisiana. You will read blueprints, fabricate and install piping systems, valves, and supports, and perform tests and commissioning activities as part of a field team.

The role requires at least 4 years of industrial construction/maintenance experience, a focus on safety, and the ability to interpret ISOs and field sketches while working across diverse on-site tasks.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, ISOs, filed installations and specifications.
• Fabricate and install screw pipe, socket weld pipe, stainless tubing, carbon steel weld pipe.
• Miter and fabricate all pipe and install valves, underground pipe, hangers and supports.
• Perform steam and heat tracing, beveling, minor valve maintenance and leak tests.
• Operate pneumatic and electric tools and conduct tubing tests.

Lie out, position, align, and fit together fabricated parts.

Primary Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, ISOs, filed installations, material takeoffs, field sketches, and understand specifications
• Fabricate and install screw pipe, socket weld pipe, stainless tubing, carbon steel weld pipe, stainless steel weld pipe
• Miter and fabricate all pipe
• Installs valves, underground pipe, pipe hangers and supports
• Steam and heat tracing
• Use beveling machine
• Minor valve maintenance and repair
• Test piping systems
• Oxygen and acetylene cutting
• Basic rigging
• Operation of pneumatic and electric tools
• Leak test tubing systems
• Additional responsibilities not listed may be required
