Job summary

Methuen Construction in Massachusetts seeks an experienced Pipefitter to install and maintain piping systems on industrial projects. Reports to the Foreman; this is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position requiring a MA pipefitter license and the ability to work on active construction sites.

Responsibilities include bolt up and alignment of flanged piping, welding of process piping, ductile iron and steel piping, and fabrication of spool pieces.

Qualifications

• MA pipefitter license is required.
• 1–3+ years in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Bolt up and alignment of flanged piping systems.
• Installation of gaskets and PVC piping where applicable.
• Layout of various piping systems and beveling/groving of ductile iron and steel piping.
• Welding of process piping systems and fabrication of spool pieces.
