Qualifications

• Work experience as a Pipefitter for commercial construction projects.
• Ability to read and work from drawings.
• Knowledge of different types of pipes, valves, fittings, and their functions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and repair pipes for heating, water, and drainage.
• Study building plans and work drawings to determine work aids.
• Cut and thread pipes using the necessary tools.

Skills

Pipefitting for commercial construction

Reading and working from drawings

Directing work of helpers or apprentices
