The Pipefitter role involves reading blueprints/P&IDs, planning installation sequencing, and installing/connecting

Qualifications

5+ years of pipefitter experience in commercial or industrial settings.
Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on training.
Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and P&IDs.
Experience with HVAC, hydronic, refrigeration, or process piping systems.
Knowledge of piping codes, installation standards, and OSHA safety practices.
Physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds and working in confined spaces/heights.
Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, spool sheets, P&IDs, and specs.
Plan installation sequencing and coordinate with other trades.
Install and assemble piping systems across various materials.
Install and maintain mechanical systems such as pumps and controls.
Perform hydrostatic, pneumatic, and leak testing.
Ensure all work meets codes and project specs.
Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain tools.
