Job summary

Gutridge Plumbing, Inc. seeks experienced pipefitters to join our team in the greater central Ohio area. You will read specifications and install piping for commercial and industrial HVAC projects, handling copper, PVC, steel, and stainless materials.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret specifications, submittals, and blueprints for piping installations (≤140 chars)
• Operate and maintain a variety of powered industrial equipment and hand tools
• Maintain a safety-first mindset and apply workplace safety policies
• Work with copper, PVC, steel, and stainless piping in HVAC systems
• Utilize joining methods such as brazing, soldering, solvent welding, Pro-Press, threading, and Victaulic
• Demonstrate strong skills in time management, math, and decision-making while delivering craftsmanship
• Educate and support fellow team members through clear communication
• Plan, prioritize, and organize tasks to meet project deadlines and quality expectations
• Represent the company professionally when working around customers

Responsibilities

• Read specifications and install piping systems as per plans
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely
• Apply safety policies to avoid hazards on site
• Work with various piping materials used in HVAC projects
• Join piping using brazing, soldering, threading, and Pro-Press systems
• Manage time and math accuracy to meet deadlines
• Share knowledge with teammates and communicate clearly
• Plan and organize tasks to ensure quality and timeliness
• Maintain professionalism around customers and clients
