Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking a skilled pipefitter to plan, lay out and perform pipe fitting and fabrication across multiple projects in a safety-conscious environment. The role requires following project plans, specs and codes, and working under direction from foremen and senior tradespeople.

The ideal candidate has 3–6+ years of industrial/commercial pipefitting experience, strong math skills and the ability to read drawings.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand drawings, specifications, safety and quality standards.
• Industrial pipefitting experience required, varying from 3 to 6+ years depending on level.
• Ability to follow directions from foreman and higher skilled workers.

Responsibilities

• Continually seek opportunities to share knowledge and teach others.
• Eliminate waste such as waiting, rework, transporting, material storage and time.
• Proficiency in trade mathematics relevant to pipefitting.
• Inspect subordinates' work for accuracy and compliance with plans and specs; correct as needed.
• Maintain positive relationships within the crew; communicate effectively.
