Job summary

Worley in Texas seeks an entry level helper to assist the crew in industrial construction/maintenance projects in La Porte. You will read blueprints to determine scope, quantities, and material sizes, and help lay out, fit, and assemble fabricated metal parts.

You will set up face blocks, jigs, and fixtures and mark centerlines and references to ensure accurate fabrication and alignment. Physical duties include climbing, lifting, and moving materials as required.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and specifications to determine scope, location, quantities and material sizes.
• Lay out, position, align, and fit fabricated parts of structural metal products.
• Set up face blocks, jigs, and fixtures for assembly.
• Locate and mark centerlines and reference points on floor or workpiece.
