Archer Western Construction is seeking a Pipefitter Helper for the West Bartow Reclamation Facility in Kingston, GA. The helper will assist in assembling, installing, and replacing pipe systems and related components, and will support pipefitters on site with various tasks.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years verifiable experience preferred.

• Able to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with teammates and supervisors.
• Strong work ethic and a desire to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assembles, and installs piping and tubing systems that conduct water, steam, air, and other fluids, solids, or gases.
• Installs vacuum piping systems, drainage and sewage lines from buildings to attachment points.
• Moves materials and equipment for plumbers, pipefitters, and steamfitters on the jobsite.

OVERVIEW

Archer Western Construction is currently seeking a Pipefitter Helper for the

West Bartow Reclamation Facility , in Kingston, GA.

The Pipefitter Helper will assemble, install, and replace pipe systems and related portions including metal, plastic, ceramic and composition; install plumbing fixtures; provides assistance to other Pipefitters on the jobsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assembles, and installs piping and tubing systems that are to conduct water, steam, air, and other fluids, solids, or gases in and around buildings and structures


• Installs vacuum piping systems, drainage and sewage lines (laterals) from buildings to the point of attachment


• Handles and moves materials and equipment to be used by plumbers, pipefitters, and steamfitters

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2-5 Years Verifiable Experience Preferred


• Experience in working with piping systems and fixtures; adequate knowledge of lengths and construction measurements for use of tools and machinery


• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions


• Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly


• Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn


• Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods


• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening

RESPONSABILIDADES

CALIFICACIONES

• 2-5 años de experiencia verificable preferida
