Job summary

Interstate Mechanical LLC is seeking a skilled Pipefitter Foreman for full-time work on commercial and industrial projects in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on pipe fitting, installation, maintenance and coordination on design/build scopes.

Responsibilities include laying out and installing pipe systems, reading drawings, and ensuring quality while meeting safety standards. A minimum of several years in the trade, tool readiness, and reliable transportation are required; weekly pay and

• At least 3–5 years of recent, relevant experience in pipe fitting.
• You must have all tools required to perform duties.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must pass drug screen with a negative result.

Responsibilities

• Work on trade-specific pipe fitting for commercial projects.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair pipe fitting systems.
• Perform layout and installation of pipe fitting items.
• Read/interpret contract documents, submittals, shop drawings, architectural, structural and mechanical drawings.
• Build mechanical rooms.
• Solder copper fittings and weld pipe.
• Layout pipe from point to point.
• Install heating hot water pumps.
• Work with steam pipes/steam traps.

PIPEFITTER FOREMAN

Responsibilities:

• Work on trade-specific pipe fitting new and/or tenant improvement related commercial projects
• Install, update, troubleshoot and/or repair trade specific/project specific assignments
• Perform layout and installation of trade specific pipe fitting focused items and materials
• Read / Interpret: contract documents, submittals, shop drawings, architectural, structural and mechanical drawings

Duties will include, but not limited to:

• Building mechanical rooms
• Working with thread pipe
• Soldering copper fittings weld pipe
• Layout pipe from point to point
• Installing heating hot water pumps
• Working with stream pipes / stream traps

Requirements:

• At least three (5) years of recent, relevant experience in your trade, closely related responsibilities OR any combination of education and/or recent, relevant experience to perform the job duties of this position.
• You must have all tools required to perform assigned job duties.
• You must be able to lift and/or carry heavy, bulky items, supplies and/or materials weighing up to 80 pounds.
• You MUST have reliable transportation.
• You must PASS drug screen with a NEGATIVE result
