The Walsh Group, Ltd. is seeking a Pipefitter for the Tempe JGMWTP Project in Tempe, Arizona. The Pipefitter will assemble, install, and replace pipe systems and related components, working with metal, plastic, ceramic, and composite materials; install plumbing fixtures.

Our team offers training and opportunities to work nationwide in Building, Transportation and Water divisions. Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of verifiable piping experience, strong safety awareness, and the ability to lift up

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of verifiable piping experience preferred.
• Experience with piping systems and fixtures; knowledge of lengths and construction measurements.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may work in adverse weather conditions.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to comply with safety policies and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• May require standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install piping and tubing systems for water, steam, air and other fluids, in and around buildings and structures.
• Install vacuum piping systems, drainage and sewage lines (laterals) from buildings to the point of attachment.
• Handle and move materials and equipment for plumbers, pipefitters and steamfitters.

Archer Western Construction is currently seeking a Pipefitter for the Tempe JGMWTP Project, in Tempe, Arizona. The Pipefitter will assemble, install, and replace pipe systems and related portions including metal, plastic, ceramic and composition; install plumbing fixtures. Our employees are built to succeed. RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assembles, and installs piping and tubing systems that are to conduct water, steam, air, and other fluids, solids, or gases in and around buildings and structures
• Installs vacuum piping systems, drainage and sewage lines (laterals) from buildings to the point of attachment
• Handles and moves materials and equipment to be used by plumbers, pipefitters, and steamfitters

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 Years Verifiable Experience
• Preferred Experience in working with piping systems and fixtures; adequate knowledge of lengths and construction measurements for use of tools and machinery
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions
• Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly
• Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn
• Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening

RESPONSABILIDADES

CALIFICACIONES

• 3-5 años de experiencia verificable preferida
• Experiencia trabajando con sistemas de tuberías y accesorios;
• Conocimiento adecuado de longitudes y medidas de construcción para el uso de herramientas y maquinaria
• Se requiere estar estar de pie, agachado, arrodillado o sentado durante largos períodos
