Job summary

Apex Plumbing, Heating, A Pros is seeking a skilled pipe layer for our excavation team in Central Ohio. You will work on residential sewer and water service projects, following safety procedures and coordinating with a crew to complete tasks.

Responsibilities include operating hand tools, maintaining equipment, and interacting with customers as needed. Must be comfortable in various weather conditions and in trenches.

Qualifications

• Residential and commercial construction experience is required.
• Ability to follow OSHA and company safety procedures.
• Ability to interact with customers as needed.
• Experience working in confined spaces and open trenches.
• Experience loading/unloading and securing equipment for transport.
• Comfortable operating a 5-ton dump truck and related equipment.

• Pipe Fitter on residential job sites
• Follow OSHA and Apex Plumbing Pros safety procedures
• Work with a crew to complete excavation work
• Interact with customers as needed
• Maintain excavation equipment
• Work in confined spaces and open trenches
• Using hand tools

Requirements

• Construction experience (residential and commercial)
• Load, unload and secure equipment on transport trailers according to guidelines
• Trenchless water, sewer & gas experience is a must.
• Driving, hauling a trailer, and comfortable operating a 5 ton dump truck.
• Complete jobs within specified timelines
• Comfortable working in various types of weather conditions.
