The Walsh Group, Ltd. is seeking a Pipefitter for the Chandler Water Treatment Plant in Chandler, AZ.

The role involves assembling, installing, and replacing piping systems and related components across metal, plastic, ceramic, and composite materials; installing plumbing fixtures in and around facilities. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, measuring and cutting pipe, and ensuring safe operation while meeting project deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of verifiable experience preferred.
• Experience working with piping systems and fixtures; knowledge of lengths and construction measurements.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may work in adverse weather conditions.
• Must comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Strong work ethic and desire to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and installs piping and tubing systems to convey water, steam, air, and other fluids within buildings and structures.
• Installs vacuum piping, drainage, and sewage lines from buildings to the attachment point.
• Handles and moves materials and equipment for plumbers, pipefitters, and steamfitters.

The Pipefitter will assemble, install, and replace pipe systems and related portions including metal, plastic, ceramic and composition; install plumbing fixtures.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assembles, and installs piping and tubing systems that are to conduct water, steam, air, and other fluids, solids, or gases in and around buildings and structures
• Installs vacuum piping systems, drainage and sewage lines (laterals) from buildings to the point of attachment
• Handles and moves materials and equipment to be used by plumbers, pipefitters, and steamfitters

Qualifications

• 3-5 Years Verifiable Experience Preferred
• Experience in working with piping systems and fixtures; adequate knowledge of lengths and construction measurements for use of tools and machinery
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions
• Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly
• Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn
• Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening

RESPONSABILIDADES

• Ensambla e instala sistemas de tuberías que conducen agua, vapor, aire y otros fluidos, sólidos o gases dentro y alrededor de edificios y estructuras
• Instala sistemas de tuberías de vacío, lignes de drenage y alcantarillado (laterales) desde los edificios hasta el punto de fijación
• Mueve materiales y equipos para ser utilizados por fontaneros, instaladores de tuberías y instaladores de vaporizador.

CALIFICACIONES

• 3-5 años de experiencia verificable preferida
• Experiencia trabajando con sistemas de tuberías y accesorios; Conocimiento adecuado de longitudes y medidas de construcción para el uso de herramientas y maquinaria
• Se requiere estar estar de pie, agachado, arrodillado o sentado durante largos períodos
• debe poder levantar hasta 50 libras; puede ser requerido para trabajar en varias condiciones climáticas
