OVERVIEW

Archer Western Construction is currently seeking a Pipefitter for the Manatee County SWWRF Expansion, in Bradenton, FL. The Pipefitter will assemble, install, and replace pipe systems and related portions including metal, plastic, ceramic and composition; install plumbing fixtures. Our employees are built to succeed. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assembles, and installs piping and tubing systems that are to conduct water, steam, air, and other fluids, solids, or gases in and around buildings and structures
• Installs vacuum piping systems, drainage and sewage lines (laterals) from buildings to the point of attachment
• Handles and moves materials and equipment to be used by plumbers, pipefitters, and steamfitters

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 Years Verifiable Experience
• Preferred Experience in working with piping systems and fixtures; adequate knowledge of lengths and construction measurements for use of tools and machinery
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions
• Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly
• Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn
• Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening

RESPONSABILIDADES

• Ensambla e instala sistemas de tuberías que conducen agua, vapor, aire y otros fluidos, sólidos o gases dentro y alrededor de edificios y estructuras

CALIFICACIONES
