Job summary

Preferred Industrial Contractors, Inc. is seeking Pipefitters for turnarounds in Texas starting January 8, 2027. Shifts available: Day and Night; 12-hour shifts with overtime. Work locations vary, with potential per diem as needed.

You will read blueprints and isometrics, measure, cut, fit, and install piping systems, perform pipe layout and preparation for welding, and maintain equipment while following all safety procedures. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial pipefitting experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret piping isometric drawings.
• Proficiency in pipe measurements, layout and fitting techniques.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, climbing and confined spaces.
• Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed.

Shifts: Day and Night Available

Hours: 12 hr shifts, 7 days/week

Overtime: 44 hours/week

Location/Per Diem: Varies on Location

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain piping, valves, fittings, and related equipment.
• Perform pipe layout, alignment, and preparation for welding.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely.
• Follow all company and job site safety procedures.
• Work efficiently with other crafts to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Previous industrial pipefitting experience required.
• Experience working in refineries, chemical plants, or other industrial facilities preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret piping isometric drawings.
• Proficiency in pipe measurements, layout, and fitting techniques.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
• Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed.
• Ability to pass required pre-employment screenings and site-specific safety training.
