Job summary

RANDALL Construction seeks skilled Pipe Welders for our Apopka, FL shop. This full-time, on-site role involves welding and fitting pipes to specification, inspecting work for defects, and ensuring conformance to ASME standards.

You will work in a fast-paced fabrication environment, using SMAW/FCAW processes and reading spool drawings to support major commercial and industrial projects across Florida’s Southeast region.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of plumbing, pipefitting and welding techniques.
• Ability to read spool drawings and technical data sheets.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Fit and weld steel pipes for plumbing/mechanical applications.

Position Summary

Thisis a full-time on-site role for Pipe Welders located in Apopka, FL. The Pipe Welders will be responsible for welding and fitting pipes tospecifications, examining work product for defects, and ensuring conformancewith specifications.

Fit and Weld steel pipes for plumbing/mechanicalapplications.

Desired QualificationRequirements

• Knowledge ofplumbing, pipefitting, and welding techniques
• Abilityto read and interpret spool drawings and technical detail data sheets.
• Excellentmechanical aptitude and manual dexterity with attention to detail
• High school diplomaor equivalent. Vocational training or certification in pipe welding
• Must be able topass a brief verbal pipe fitters test during interview.
• Working knowledgeof SMAW, FCAW, Stick (6010/7018) welding
• Working knowledgeof gas cutting techniques for piping (Automatic & Manually)
• Excellent knowledge of Fittingconfigurations adhering to ASME B31.1 Power Piping
• Preferred knowledgeof examination, testing, inspection, operation, and maintenance of pipingsystems found in industrial, institutional, and general heating andcooling systems.
• Strong attention todetail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
• Communication:Effective English or Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) verbal and writtencommunication skills are a must have
• Teamwork: Abilityto work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, andproject stakeholders to achieve quality objectives and project success.
• Safety: Commitmentto adhering to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to ensure asafe working environment for oneself and others.
