Job summary

Onboarding Resource, LLC in Houston, TX is seeking experienced pipe welders with GTAW (TIG) and GMAW/FCAW (MIG/Flux Core) welding experience to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for welding, fabrication, and quality inspection activities in accordance with customer specifications, blueprints, and welding procedures.

Candidates must pass a 6G weld test and be able to work day or night shifts with a 10% night shift differential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of pipe welding experience in manufacturing/fabrication.
• Dual GTAW (TIG) and GMAW/FCAW (MIG/Flux Core) preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, P&IDs, weld symbols, and measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of pipe schedules, materials, and welding processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG, MIG, and Flux Core welding on pipe and related components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.
• Set up welding equipment and adjust welding parameters as required.
• Select proper filler metals and welding materials for various alloys and applications.
• Inspect welds and complete required quality documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on welding equipment.
• Utilize precision measuring tools and gauges.
• Assist with material inventory audits and material tracking.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S principles.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Wear required PPE and participate in safety training.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
