Job summary

Twin Rivers Technologies, Inc. in Quincy, MA is seeking a Regular Full-Time Welder to join our maintenance team. The role focuses on pipe welding/fitting for stainless and carbon steel, with daily responsibilities including troubleshooting, repair of process piping, and preventive maintenance.

Proficiency in TIG, MIG, and Stick welding is required, along with the ability to read orders, flow sheets, blueprints, and P&IDs. This on-site position includes competitive hourly pay and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience welding stainless and carbon steel pipes (TIG/MIG/Stick).
• Ability to read work orders, flow sheets, blueprints and P&ID’s to determine repairs.
• Willingness to perform preventive maintenance and equipment installation.

Responsibilities

• Weld stainless and carbon steel pipes using TIG/MIG/Stick.
• Read orders and drawings to determine repairs and comply with specs.
• Troubleshoot and repair process piping and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and assist with equipment installation.
• Complete data entry in the work order system.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Welder performs pipe welding/fitting for stainless and carbon steel pipes. Pipe welder will have daily responsibilities to trouble shoot and repair process piping and equipment and perform preventive maintenance on equipment within the facility.

• Working under the direction and supervision of others; performs welding for stainless and carbon steel pipes.
• Read and interpret work orders, flow sheets, blueprint drawings, vendor specs, and/or P&ID’s to understand issue and to determine required repairs.
• Proficient in TIG welding, mig welding, stick welding
• Performs all types of welding, brazing and soldering repair, replace, and installation of stainless and carbon steel plate and pipe, aluminum, copper and all other metals.
• Proficient in using hand, power and shop tools.
• Process equipment assembly and installation.
• Equipment diagnostics, troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Pipe fitting rigging and equipment installation
• Assist with process equipment assembly and installation.
• Perform lubrication on equipment as needed and directed.
• Complete data entry into the work order system as required.

All candidates must take the following 6G tests as part of the interview process:
