Allan Myers Inc. in Suffolk, VA is seeking an ambitious laborer to join our elite team. This role involves heavy physical duties on a variety of construction tasks and requires 1–2 years of site experience along with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience on construction sites.
• GED/High School diploma or related work experience.
• Trade School a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Install interior piping - flanged ductile iron, PVC glue-joint, copper and stainless steel press-fit.
• Concrete hammer drilling for anchor installations.
• Rigging and large/heavy material movement using material handlers and cranes.
• Complete installations using layout and instructions provided by Field Manager.
• Scaffold erection, manlift operation, working at heights and within fall protection.
• Concrete demolition using air and electric tools.
• Metal and pipe cutting using abrasive blades on grinders, portabands, etc.
• Lifts, carries, and holds building materials, tools, and supplies.
• Cleans tools, materials, and work areas.
