Job summary

Allan Myers is seeking a laborer to join our heavy civil construction team on-site. This role involves heavy physical duties across a variety of tasks, including piping installations, scaffolding, and material handling. We promote from within and provide great benefits to support long-term career growth.

Required are 1–2 years of site experience, a GED or high school diploma, and a valid driver's license. Trade school is a plus and we foster a family-like culture focused on safety and teamwork

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of construction site experience.
• GED or high school diploma.
• Trade school a plus.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy physical duties on a variety of tasks on construction sites.
• Install interior piping including ductile iron, PVC, copper and stainless steel press-fit.
• Concrete hammer drilling for anchor installations.
• Rigging and material movement using handlers and cranes.
• Complete installations following Field Manager instructions.
• Erect scaffolds, operate manlifts, and work at heights with fall protection.
• Demolish concrete with air and electric tools.
• Cut metal and pipe with grinders and saws.
• Lifts and carries building materials and tools.
• Maintain and clean tools and work areas.
