Job summary

Complete Development, Inc. is seeking a Pipe Superintendent to lead underground utility work in the field on storm, sanitary sewer, and water projects.

You will manage pipe crews, coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and other trades, and ensure work is safe, on schedule, and built to plan. Responsibilities include planning daily pipe crew work, reading plans, scheduling crews and equipment, enforcing OSHA safety standards, coordinating testing with engineers and municipalities, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of pipe superintendent experience.
• Strong knowledge of underground utility construction.
• Able to read construction plans and grade sheets.
• OSHA trench and excavation safety knowledge.
• Florida site-development experience highly preferred.

• Make sure work meets plans and specs, and fix quality issues quickly
• Keep daily reports, crew time, and job documentation accurate
• Train and mentor foremen and crew members

Pipe Superintendent, Complete Development, Inc. (Thonotosassa, FL), full-time.

Summary: Complete Development, Inc. is a Tampa land development and site work contractor. We're hiring a Pipe Superintendent to run underground utility work in the field: storm, sanitary sewer, and water. You'll lead pipe crews and keep the work safe, on schedule, and built to plan, working with project managers, inspectors, and the other trades.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct daily pipe crew work on storm, sanitary, and water installs
• Read plans, profiles, and specs, and lay out work to grade
• Schedule crews, equipment, and materials, and keep production on target
• Enforce safety rules, trench safety, and OSHA standards on every site
• Coordinate testing and inspections with engineers, municipalities, and utility owners
• Make sure work meets plans and specs, and fix quality issues quickly

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a pipe superintendent (required)
• Strong knowledge of underground utility construction and installation methods
• Able to read construction plans and grade sheets
• Working knowledge of OSHA trench and excavation safety
• Proven leadership of field crews and multiple jobs
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• OSHA-30 preferred, or ability to obtain one.
• Florida site-development experience is highly preferred.
